The Rotorua Racing Club’s annual meeting, which opened to-day, was held in line weather and despite recent rains the track was in excellent condition. The attendance was the largest for many years and during the day the totalisutor handled £19,261, as compared with £14,147 10s on the opening day' last year, there being an increase of £5113 10s.
