FIRMER PRICES FOR. EAT STOCK.
There was -the usual attendance of buyers at the* Avcckly stock sale held yesterday. Average yardings were presented in pll sections, 'although slightly smaller as regards pigs. A keen sale was conducted at late rates, particularly for store pigs. A shortage of offering,- in fat stock resulted in tinner prices in thsi department.
