Relief Work Rates
OPPOSITION TO CUT CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night. The restoration of the 10 per cent, cut in the time of the men employed on relief works is being urged by the North Canterbury Hospital Board, which is circularising all local authorities asking for their assistance in the matter. It is contended by the board that if this cut is restored it will make a material difference in the homes of the people whose earnings are slender.
