To Plant Flag on Peak of Everest
YORKSHIREMAN’S HAZARDOUS VENTURE MISSING ON FIRST DAY OF FLIGHT Received Tuesday, 2 a.m. LONDON, May 22. The Yorkshireman Maurice Wilson left London on Sunday in a light aeroplane intending to plant the Union Jack on the peak of Everest. He has not since been reported.
