Master Nigel Robinson, son of jMr and Mrs Stan Robinson, Bristol Street, who has been an inmate of the Levin Private Hospital, has returned home and is progressing favourably. 'The death occurred on Wednesday, of Miss Jessie Esplin, who had been a resident of the Levin district for about ten years. The deceased v lady, who was aged 56, was born at DundeeJ , Scotland, and as a child went with her parents to London, where she received her education. She was an associate of the National College of Music, London, and in 19122 was presented with a gold medal of esteem from that College. She conducted a private school and also taught music, at Walthamstow, a London .suburb. Coming to New Zealand in, 1922, she stayed for .'a year in Wellington before coming to Levin, where she resided till about seven months ago. that time until her last illness, which was a brief one, she was at Ohau. Mr F. J. Esplin, of the Fletcher Construction Company’s staff, Wellington, is a brother of the deceased. Much sympathy will be felt for him in his bereavement, the' more so as Miss Esplin’a death was unexpected. The funeral is %eing . - keld this afternoon. .I ' ■
