ROBBERY AT TWO HOUSES.

THREE MEN COMMITTED FOR TRIAL.

(By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Wednesday.

Following inquiries that were made concerning a robbery which was committed at two houses in Grant Road, while the occu/piers were away on holiday, George Frederick Hall (32) a traveller, William John Newman (52), a plasterer and James Burch (59), a labourer, pleaded not guilty to tw'o charges of breaking, entering and theft of goods valued at £135 10s 4d. They were committed for trial. The Magistrate refused them bail.
