BIG QUANTITIES SOLD IN AUCKLAND. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. The statement that as much liquor is sold after hours by some sly grog shops iu Auckland as some hotels sold in the day time was made by the sub-inspector when prosecuting a Dalmatian named Mate Nysich, for selling liquor without a license. The case was a sequel to a series of raids made by the police on such shops. Accused was fined £IOO.
