OLD OFFENDER REMANDED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. 1 Bail was refused by the Magistrate, Mr E. D. Mosley this morning when George Cann (40), -was remanded till June 3rd on a charge of attempting to break and enter the shop of W. E. Munday, Ltd., in Colombo Street, on Saturday night. The police said accused was an old offender. it is alleged was caught by a neigh oouring shop owner who had been disturbed by suspicious sounds. Another man escaped. (
