Mr Justice Ostler to-day delivered a reserved judgment in the case in which John William McCoy, mining engineer of Auckland, claimed damages from the Aard Motor Services, Ltd., for injuries received in a collision between a service car in which plaintiff was a passenger and a private cUr near Daunevirke. His Honour held that tlu cause of the accident was the service driver’s negligence and awarded £132-1 damages against defendants.
