CASE TO GO TO COMMITTEE. (By Telegraph—Press Association). HAMILTON, This Day. Supreme Court proceedings between Dean Barnet and Bishop Cherrington ended this morning, an interim injunction against the Bishop’s proposed inquiry into the Dean’s fitness to hold his present office being disclosed by Mr Justice Herdman. On the application of both parties a withdrawal of the case follows an agreement to refer the dispute to a committee appointed, by Archbishop Averill.
