He colored 2740 miles in 24 hours, averaging 114 miles an hour. Voison continued in the hope of beating Lindberghjs long-distance flight record, with a view to demonstrating that a motor car is capable of travelling at a speed than an aeroplane, provided that it continues over a considerable period of time. He noticed that he had made a world's record for 3000 miles in 95,512.12 seconds, and for 500 Q kilometres in 16504 minutes, when he stopped. •
