AMERICA'S INTENTIONS. (Received This Day, 9.15 a.m.) PariSj January 28. Sir Auckland Ged'des had a long interview ' with Mr Lloyd George on Wednesday and again on Thursday. The suggestion that lie brought an American proposal for a naval holiday i» regarded! as inaccurate. A reduction of the American programme is considered unlikely in view of the unemployment.
