Cow Killed by an Eel.
.. A post-mortem examination on a cow, belonging to Mr English, of Upwey, noar Wejmoutli, which had to he shot, revealed the fact that a fresh-water eei v t-iventy-two inches in length Had become lodged 1 in the animal's windpipe. It had apparently swallowed the fish while drinking from a brook.
