May Link Up with Works CONFERENCE TO BE HELD A suggestion that the council meet representatives of the H.B. Farmers' Aleat Co. and Nelsons (N.Z.) Ltd. with a view to discussing a proposal to link up their works with the new line of sewer was made at the meeting of the Hastings Borough Council last evening. Cr. P. M. Cohr stated that the I WorK» Committee had considered the letter and recommended that the companies be advised that the council would he prepared to consider their suggestions at a later date, but that nothing could be done in the meantime until the cost of the sewerage outfall scheme had been ascertained.
