RIFLE SHOOTING
Craggy Range Teams HAGGIS CUP MATCH The Scotsmen and Sassenachs of the t'ragg.V Range Rifle Club will fire the second match for the Haggis Cup, presented by Sir Alexander Roberts, during the week-end, over ranges 300, 5(10, and 600 yards, seven shots. The competition consists of two matches, to be fired at the beginning and end of the season. In tho first match this year the Sassenachs got a lead of 20 points. The teams are:— Scotch team: .Michael M. S. Gordon, lan Gordon, Royston K. Campbell, Gordon S. Campbell. lan A. .Mackintosh, Bruce Douglas, Donald S. .McLeod, Kelvin Tawse. Sassenach team: Derek van Asch, Frank R. Field, Geof. Field, R. M. .Field, Stan. Small, G. Cook. F. A. Rich, Ivan van Asch. Maraekakaho Club On Tuesday evening members of tho -Maraekakaho Miniature Rifle Club shot the second round for trophies donated by Mr. L. Maclean. Shooting for the championship scries is also now in progress. Ladder badges were won by Miss McKinnon with 99 and T. Ramm with 97. Other scores were; a 'lMiss McKinnon (scr.) 99 W.
