FARM HAND ROBBED

On Eve of Wedding

SYDNEY, June 7.

James Taylor, a 30-year-old farmhand, came to Sydney for his wedding on Friday and late at night went out to buy cigarettes. Tw-o men accosted him, asked him for a cigarette and then felled him with a fierce blow, which nearly fractured his jaw. They then robbed him of £42.

Mr Taylor later recovered in hospital at Petersham but was so intent on keeping faith with his bride that ho left hospital yesterday against doctor's orders and went through with the ceremony at the scheduled hour at tlio local Baptist church.
