The Schlesinger prize for a London to Johannesburg air-race will be divided as follows: —£4000 f or the fastest speed, and of the remainder handicap prizes, the winner will receive £3OOO, the second £l5OO, tho third £lOOO, and the fourth £5OO,
Mr Schlesinger a South African millionaire, has donated a £lO,OOO prize for a London-to-Johannesburg air race in connection with the Johannesburg Exhibition, the race to be confined to Empire pilots ami aircraft, and the organisation to bo under tho Royal Auro Club.
