Morse Rose-Bowl Run The members of the Napier Harrier Club held the first of a series of open handicap races for the Morse RoseBowl on Saturday afternoon over a course of 10,000 metres, about 6} miles, starting and finishing at the Napier Park racecourse. The fine weather was largely responsible for attracting the largest muster of runners seen this season. The majority of the competitors showed improved form, and thus gave the back-markers something to do to catch them. Following is the result of the race E. Brock (handicap 6min. lOsecs.) 43min. 7secs. 1 L Stevens (6min.). 43min. 41 secs. 2 L. Hatch (smin. ISsecs.), 43min. 44secs. 3 W, Didcott (2mins.) 4-lniiu, llsec. 4 L.
