RECRUITING CAMPAIGN
ACTIVITIES AT THE CAPE CAPETOWN, June 4. Tho Union Government is investigating reports of an extensive recruiting campaign fur the Gerniau army that is being actively conducted throughout South-West Africa, allegedly under the direct supervision of tho German consul, who is stated to have sent a letter to all young Germans ordering them to present themselves for medical examination by a German doctor, otherwise they are liable to a £l2 fine or imprisonment.
