Tho Union Government is investigating reports of an extensive recruiting campaign fur the Gerniau army that is being actively conducted throughout South-West Africa, allegedly under the direct supervision of tho German consul, who is stated to have sent a letter to all young Germans ordering them to present themselves for medical examination by a German doctor, otherwise they are liable to a £l2 fine or imprisonment.
