Air G. O. Wilkinson, secretary of the Hawke’s Bay Fruitgrowers’ Federation, Hastings, has left for Motueka, owing to the death of his mother. Mr Wilkinson is expected to be away from Hastings for about a fortnight. A dance has been organised to augment the funds of the Hastings Plunket Society, and will be held in the Maraekakafio Hall on Friday, June 5. Lovers of dancing are assured of a most enjoyable evening with a splendid floor, tip-top orchestra and a delightful supper. The organisers Mesdames H. Gascoyne and H.
