But with most 01 us mat stage soon passes, and we begin to tret that wo should appear to suen disadvantage. Our red nose makes us reel tnat only a blind man could possibly care for us. Try rubbing camphor ice in it. This will relieve the pum and reduce the inflammation. Camphor ice will also help to keep the lips iroin cracking and peel nig in Hmt horribly unbecoming way a coni creates. One ot tho most trying accompaniments to a cold is an obstinate little sore at the corner of the lip. This will often dely elaborate treatment yet yield to the homely remedy of eau de cologne dabbed on every couple ot hours. This simple cure is well worth trying. If we aro feverish tho skin will probably bo dry and harsh. Sweet almond oil or nourishing cream will help to soften and feed the skin if it is well rubbed into the face, neck, hands, and arms. Perhaps the finger nails are splitting and ragged cuticles forming as a result of a feverish condition. Almond oil or a good hand lotion will counteract this also.
