Ambushes Continue JERUSALEM, May 31. Sir Arthur Waucliope, High Comm is sioner, summoned Arab mayors and urged them to pacify the country and persuade tho Arabs to submit iheit grievances to the forthcoming Royal Commission. It is understood that the Mayors replied that they would bq un able to pacify the Arabs until their ds mands are conceded. The disturbances, ambushes, arson and shooting continue in many districts Seaforth Highlanders and police search ing for arms in a village near Nablus replied to fire from the neighbouring hills, killing one Arab and injuring 1 wo.
