AGED V.C. DIES

Sir Percival Darling British Official Wireless Service RUGBY, May 30. The death occurred at his Gloucestershire home this morning of Colonel Sir Percival Darling, aged 75, the oldest holder of the Victoria Cross, which he won as a lieutenant for rescuing a pri vatc soldier under heavy fire at Tamanieb, in the Sudan, 52 years ago.
