Unique Golf Feat at Shirley By Telegraph—Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, May 31. A golfing incident believed to be unique occurred at Shirley this afternoon when, in a four-ball match a holo was halved in one. -. W. T. D. Harman had the honour with a well-hit shot which found the cup. His partner, K. J- Walker, then played. After a remark by one of the four that he had that shot for a half, M. U. Godby played, and his tec shot also went in the hole. Both balls were pitched about the sumo place, slightly to the left of the line to the pin, and rolled round the slope into the hole. Although holes have been halved in one several tines in singles in different parts of the world, and at least once in a foursome in America, there is uo record of the incident occurring in a four-ball.
