"The ship’s officers still insist that no determined effort is being made to establish a record, and they expect to • each Ambrose Light at 11 o’clock on Monday morning, as scheduled, and dock soon afterwards. "In the afternoon thick fog diminished hopes that the liner would set a new Atlantic record.
