Abbotsford Quarterly Meeting From Our Own Correspondent) WAIPAWA, May 24. The quarterly meeting of the Loyal Abbotsford Lodge, Manchester Unity Oddfellows, was held on Friday night, the N.G. Bro. R. Kirk, presiding over a good attendance of members. Two members were initiated into the order. The N.G. extended a hearty welcome to Bro. J. T. Avison of Loyal Papakura Lodge, Auckland, who had formerly been a member if Abbotsford Lodge, and was at present visiting the district. The election of officers for the ensuing six months resulted: N.G. Bro. J. Bosley; V.G. Sister B. Weston; E.S. Sister B. Kingston. Director Bro. N. J. McKay and P. G. Bro. Kerr acted as scrutineers. Application is to be made to the District for permission to change the lodge night to the Thursday before the present meeting night. An invitation is to be extended to members of the Ruataniwha Lodge of Past Grands to visit the lodge at its uext meeting and carry out the installation of officers elect. At the conclusion of the meeting supper was provided by the social committee.
