FRONTIERS GUARDED Replacements at Rate of One-Fifth a Year NEW PLANE FACTORIES (By Telegraph—Press Assn., Copyright.) (Received 30, 8.50 a.m.) ROME, March 28. The thirteenth anniversary of the formation of the Italian Air Force was celebrated by an aerial display. A crowd of 50,000 watched new, fast fighters in spectacular aerobatics. Signor Mussolini presented medals to the parents and widows of airmen killed in Abyssinia. General Valle, Under-Secretary for Air, speaking subsequently in the Senate, said that the display was designed to prove to foreign military observers that the Italian frontiers were well guarded, even in the sky. Italy would shortly possess 10,000 pilotsA scheme was being perfected by which one-fifth of the Italian war planes would bo renewed yearly, as it was estimated that their useful life was limited to five years. Meanwhile, new factories are being built in central and southern Italy distant from districts over-exposed to attack in war time. TRADE WITH ALBANIA Italian Agreement (Received 30, 10.35 a.m.) TIRANA, March 29. The Albanian Parliament ratified new Italo-Albanian agreements facilitating trade, extending the Italian concession and providing for the resumption of debt payments by Albania.
