Larger Entries and Big Crowd This Year ANNUAL GATHERING (Own Correspondent.) WAIPUKUKAU, March 28. Tile annual sports meeting of the Te Aute District Sports Club was held at Te Aute to-day on the spacious new grounds kindly lent by Mrs M. E. Ellison. Larger entries and attendance and tireless efforts by the club officials made the meeting a great success and an improvement on last year’s. The weather was particularly fine except for a heavy wind, which disappeared just after noon. A shooting gallery and other amusement booths, national dancing, horse events and athletic events kept the large crowd entertained. Officials were: Judges, horse events, Mr G. D.
