REPERTORY PLAYERS

“Laburnum Grove” Read “Laburnum Grove,” a three-act comedy by J. B, Priestley, was read by members of the Napier Repertory Players last evening, a large attendance witnessing a splendid reading. This was the third play-reading the society has held this season. The characters in the play were read by the following;— “Elsie Radfern,” Nola Wilson; “Mrs Baxley,’’ Tui Hardy-Gibson; “Bernard Baxley,” Percy Spiller; “George Radfern,” Arthur E. Renouf; “Harold Russ,” Leicester Bull; “Joo Fletten,” Jim McCluskey; “Mrs Radfern, ’> Mrs Scoullar; “Inspector Stack,” Ken Douglas ; “Sergeant Morris,” BUI Bain.
