No Saints’ Days in Calendar CATHOLICS INCENSED (Received 1!), 9.30 a.m.) BERLIN, Feb. 18. The Minister ot Agriculture, Herr Darre, has published a new calendar “for every German farmer. ’’ Roman Catholics are incensed and regard it as the crowning Nazi insult It omits all names of saints’ days and explains holidays to be incidents in German history. For example, Good Friday is in memory of 4500 Saxons murdered by Charlemagne the Butcher, Easter is' the Easter Feast of tho Sunrise, Assumption Day Thor’s descent after the Hammer, Ash Wednesday Ash Wotan’s Day, December 25 the coming of Yuletide and the appearance of the Goat Star on Valhalla’s roof.
