DR. WURM SUPPORTED
Fight For Freedom in German Church DECLARATION OF LOYALTY (Received 18, 11.45 a m.) BERLIN, Sept. 17. Dr. Wurm made a statement instructing parishes not to pay church funds to Dr. Mueller’s commissioner or local administrations he had established. All pastors supporting Dr. Wurm, who are in an overwhelming majority in \\ urtemburg, read from pulpits a declaration of loyalty to Dr. Wurm, although the latter warned them that there might be serious consequences.
Dr. Mueller, German Primate, has ordered Dr. Wurm, Bishop of Wurtemberg, to take indefinite compulsory leave because, with the Bishop of Bavaria, be rejected Dr. Mueller’s plan to incorporate their churches in tha German Christian Church movement.
