This Morning’s Awards Most of the morning was occupied with dancing at the Napier Competitions to-day. Results of the various sections are as follow:— INSTRUMENTAL. Violin, under 16.—Master J. Franklin (Napier), 185 pointe. 1; Miss S. Coady (Norsewood), 179 points, 2; Master R. Spiller (Napier), v.h.e. VOCAL. Voeal solo and accompanist, own selection, boy or girl under 12.—Misses R. Sanders and N. Spencer (Hastings). 188 points, 1; Master P. Hurst and Miss G. Fox (Napier) and Misses E. Annan and N. Briasco (Napier), equal, 171 points, 2. Vocal solo, girls under nine, own selection. —Miss K. Caldwell (Petone). 168 points, 1; Miss L. Larsen (Welling ton) and Miss S. Boardman (Napier), equal, 164 points, 2. . DANCING. Skipping dance, under seven.—Miss P. Full (Wellington) and Miss H. Hutchinson (Hastings', equal, 80 points, 1: Miss J. Thear (Hastings), 79 points. Operatic dauee. under 10.—Miss D. Larsen (Wellington), 81 points, 1; Miss J. Willis (Napier), 79 points, 2; Miss K. Caldwell (Petone) and Miss C. Wright (Napier), h.c. Skipping dance. 10 to 14. —Miss J Lewis (Petone). 90 points. 1: Miss T. O’Connor (Wellington). 82 points. 2; Miss N. Lyneh (Napier), v.h.e.; Miss I. Pothan (Hastings', Miss I’.
