DEATH ON THE HIGH SEAS
Wealthy Young Man in Court NEW YORK, April 2. Andrew Kirwan, aged 23, son of Madame Dubonnet, who is the wife of the millionaire French distiller and who formerly, as Jean Nash, was known as the ‘‘best-dressed woman in the world,” was acquitted by the jury to-day of the alleged murder of William Sessoms on February 10 aboard the steamship President Garfield on the high seas. The Federal Prosecutor tried to prove thnt. Kirwan stabbed his companion over a religious argument after excessive drinking. The Judge’s charge to the jury em phasised that the Government must prove murderous intent. It was not incumbent upon the accused to prove his innocence. The jury deliberated only a few minutes. •
