Youth Attacked at Manly SYDNEY, April 1 Another shark tragedy occurred at the lunch hour to-day, at North Steyne, near Manly. A party of boys were Surfing in the second line of breakers when I.con Hermes, aged 16. cried out: “Shark 1 " His companions immediately afterwards saw the water stained with blood. Hermes sank, but was soon brought ashore. He died in half an hour from shock and loss of blood. His right leg was mutilated in n terrible manner and w, torn to shreds.
