ENGLAND’S FIRST DEFEAT, BRISBANE’S THREE-POINT WIN. Brisbane, June 15. The Englishmen suffered their first defeat of the tour when they met Brisbane. Tackling, passing and kicking like champions Brisbane hold them at 15 all when a last-minute score by Jones clinched the win by 18 to 15. For Brisbane Park, Neumann (two) and Jones scored. Lockie kicked two goals and Hogan one. For England Ellaby, Woods and Davies scored and Hodgson kicked three goals.
