SEE TO THESE
See that there are no loose connections inside your set. See that all your valves fit snugly into their holders. See that your aerial insulators are kept as free as possible from grime—if they are very dirty a scrub may work wonders. See that spare valves are kept in a safe place. See that you are not losing volume and selectivity by using worn-out valves —have them tested if they have been in service for some time.
