Every newspaper is giving prominence to the disclosure of tho Master ot the Mint’s report that more than half the year’s output of £250,000 worth of threepences went to New Zealand, “where so many Scottish compatriots carried their virtues and customs to form the great flourishing dominion.” Incidentally the British hatred of threepences is revealed by the fact, that only a half per cent, of tho output was retained in Britain and Ireland
