EXPORT ANOMALY
NO PAYMENT FORTHCOMING. BRADFORD FIRM’S EXPERIENCE. (United Press Association—By CableCopyright.) (Received 8, 2.45 p.m.) London, Dec. 7. The Hull Chamber of Commerce has decided to urge the Government to recognise the need for some reciprocal arrangement in view of the difficulties of manufactures in obtaining payment tor exports owing to fifteen foreign Governments restricting export currencies. It was pointed out that a Bradford firm exported cloth to Hungary and was unable to obtain payment although the money was deposited in their name in a Hungarian hank, the Government refusing to permit it to be taken over and even rejecting an offer to take Hungarian products in lieu of currency.
