CENTRE SHIELD MATCH. THE HASTINGS CLUB. The second round in the Centre Shield match took place last Saturday, when two rinks met two of Kia Toa’s. On the latter’s green Saywell, Crichton, White and Parkinson defeated Wallace, Hill, Evans and Burgo by 33 to 11. At home Hall, Gardner, Monk and McKee won by 24 to 12 in a keen game (no less than eight dead beads;), against Graham, Parkhill, Williams, and Sykes. Parkinson, McKee.
