On big firm of drapers in the West End of London estimates their annual losses through shoplifting at £lO,OOO. They prosecute thieves in about 250 cases every year. A course in sleeping is offered by the Fiiiveisity of Texas. Students who are below par physically are pi;t to bed in the gymnasium. Not knowing how to sleep is regarded as a physical handicap.
