Tho Dutch air mail 'plane overturned when leaving Donmuang, Siam, on its way home. Five were killed. Col. Brins mead, a passenger, suffered from concussion and broken ribs. His condition on Sunday night had improved since morning. The ’plane failed to rise and struck an embankment. A wheel came off and the machine was overturned in a paddy field. Air Commodore Kingsford Smith arrived on the scene at noon, refuelled and hopped off for Rangoon. Colonel Brinsmead. who joined the ’plane at Alorstar, is now in Rangoon hospital. I A Rangoon message savs that Kingsford Smith has arrived there. FLIGHT TO FARIS. HINKLER LEAVES FROM MADRID Madrid, Dec. 5. Hinkler has left on a non-stop flight to Paris. Hinkler has been detained bv bad weather between here and Paris.
