RIFLE SHOOTING
WAIPUKURAU DEFENCE CLUB. WOODWARD’S THIRD WIN. On the Mount Vernon range on Saturday the Waipukurau Defence Rifle Club fired for the Waipukurau “Press” trophy, conditions being two series of 10 shots at 300 yards. The elements wore good, and for the first trophy shoot of the season some very creditable scores were put on. Rifleman Woodward heading the list for the third year in succession with a total of 90.
