Mr. Ray Williams, of Woodville, is spending the school holidays renewing old acquaintances in Otane. Otane A. beat Waipawa Old Girls in a friendly match at Waipawa on Saturday by 14 goals to one. In the junior practice, J. White’s team won the first match by 8 goals to 7. A. Griffin’s team won the second match by 5 goals to 2. All basketball players and midget footballers are requested to be at the Town Hall at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, August 26.
