ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES

By Telegraph—Press Association Edwin John lilakeway, aged 26, booking clerk at the Palmerston North Railway Station, was found dead alongside his bieyelo early this morning on the Longburn-Karere road. Deceased was a well-known amateur cyclist, and participated in a road race on Saturday. The cause of death is believed to bo due to natural causes not definitely ascertained. Gordon Thomas Adam Sinclair, aged 28, single, labourer, was found dead face downward in about four inches of mud and water on farm property at Milton on Saturday. It is surmised that he tripped and fell face downwards in the mud. At the inquest the verdict was that death was due to suffocation.
