Tn Holy Trinity Church. Tanrangn, the wedding took place of Miss Ruth Marie Muntfort, elder daughter of Mr. E. Plumer Muntfort, to Mr. Alfred Ellerv Nelson, eldest son of the late Mr. H. Nelson, of Hawke’s Bay. The ceremony was performed by the vicar, the Rev. A. F. Hall. The bride, who entered the church with her father, wore a sleeveless frilled gown of pink georgette over white satin, with circular skirt forming an uneven hemline. Her veil of pale pink tulle was embroidered with roses, silver tissue buds and true lovers’ knots, and formed a train. Caught to the head with a coronet and cluster of orange blossoms, it was surrounded by an erect frill of pleated tulle. She carried a shower bouquet of pale pink carnations and white St. Joseph lilies. The bridesmaids were Miss Zoe and Miss Brenda Mountfort. They were gowned in delphinium blue gorgette, with two-tiered frills dipping at the back and rose beige crinoline hats, caught at the side with a large blue rose. They carried bouquets of pink sweet peas and African daisies. Little Daphne Pattie was trainbearer and wore a frock of pale pink erepe de chine and a wreath of pink roses on her head. The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Mr. Stephen Nelson, as best man, and Mr. Maitland Poole was groomsman. After the ceremony a reception was held at Mau Ngarongo, the residence of the bride's parents, at Gate Pa. Mrs. Mountfort wore a frock of fawn georgette and lace and hat trimmed .with mauve flowers.
