GHASTLY STORY
RED UPRISING IN HUNAN MOSCOW FORCES KILL 100,000. MANY CITIES DESTROYED. (United Preu Association—By CableCopyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Press Assn.] (Received 10, 1.10 p.m.) Shanghai, August 0, Hie Rev. Chderr, from Hengchow, Hunan, reports a ghastly story of a Red uprising in Hunan carried out at the orders of Moscow. Failing to gain control of the south-western counties, Red forces laid waste eleven counties and razed many cities and villages killing over 100,000. Leiyang, a city of 30,000 inhabitants, was completely destroyed by fire, not one house remaining.
