HAWKE’S B\V DISTRICT CON- ■ VENTION. The annual District Convention opened its sessions in Wesley Hall, Hastings, on Thursday. Mrs. Banks, local president, welcomed the delegates, who were present from Dannevirke, Waipukurau, Waipawa, Napier and Hastings. The Rev, F. Copeland attended and conducted devotions. Miss McKay, Dominion organiser, addressed the morning session on the need for an enlarged vision of service, and urged the fuller consecration of all W.C.T.U. members to their ideals for which the organisation stood.
