COMMON W KALTH CONSIGNMENTS. London, Jan. 3. “Tlie Times” says Australia is making a strong bid for England’s egg market. Consignments from the Commonwealth are expected shortly to reach £1,000,000 annually. Coldstored Australian eggs are creating an excellent impression and pass searching tests. Despite prejudice, they are practically indistinguishable from new laids.—(“Tinies.”)
