Dalgety and Co., Ltd. have received the following cable from their London house under date March 26. 1926:— London sheepskins sales: 5083 bales offered at auction and 4148 bales sold. As compared with closing rates of last series. Merino combing firm at last quotations, crossbred combing, clothing and lambs par to 5 per cent, higher. The following is the range of prices:—Merino three-quarter to full wooled 14|d to 16d, Merino quarter to half woolled 10id to 13|d, short and shorn BJd to 10jd, crossbred threequarter to full woolled, fine 12|d to 16d, medium and coarse 10.U1 to 14d, crossbred quarter to half woolled, fine HJd to 14d, quarter to half woolled, medium and coarse 9|d to 13jd, short and shorn 9Jd to 12d, lambs lOd to 14d.
