Prince of Wales

PROGRESSING SATISFACTORILY. HEARING WILL BE NORMAL. London, March 29. Th© evening bulletin states that the Prince of Wales is progressing. The pain has ceased and his general condition is satisfactory. No further regular bulletin will be issued. A medical explanation of the Prince’s illness says it was due to the entrapment of germs in. the passage of the middle ear, a common occurrence prevailing during the influenza epidemic. An accumulation of pus necessitated puncturing the ear drum to relieve the pressure and allow the pus to escape. The hearing will become normal as soon as the puncture in the drum heals.— (A. and N.Z.)
